and not as Moses, who put a veil over his face, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which was being abolished.
and are not as Moses, who put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel should not look stedfastly on the end of that which was passing away:
and we are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the Israelites would not gaze at the end of the glory which was fading away.
Nor [do we act] like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze upon the finish of the vanishing [splendor which had been upon it].
And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
We are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from gazing steadily until the end of the glory of what was being set aside,
We aren’t like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the Israelites couldn’t watch the end of what was fading away.
unlike Moshe, who put a veil over his face, so that the people of Isra’el would not see the fading brightness come to an end.
We are not like Moses. His face was shining, but he covered it to keep the people of Israel from seeing the brightness fade away.
and not according as Moses put a veil on his own face, so that the children of Israel should not fix their eyes on the end of that annulled.
and are not like Moses. He was putting a veil on his face so that the sons of Israel might not look-intently at the end of the [face of glory] passing-away.
And not as Moses put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel might not steadfastly look on the face of that which is made void.
We are not like Moses, who put a covering over his face. He covered his face so that the people of Israel would not see it. The glory was disappearing, and Moses did not want them to see it end.
We are not like Moses. His face did not continue to be bright with the light from God. So he covered his face with a cloth. He did not want the Israelite people to see that the light was coming to an end.
We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face, so that the Israelites could not continue to look at the end of the radiance, as it was fading away.
not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end.

We are not like Moses, who put a ·covering [veil] over his face so the ·Israelites [L children of Israel] would not see it [Ex. 34:29–35]. The glory was ·disappearing [fading; or made ineffective], and Moses did not want them to see it end.
And we are not as Moses, which put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel should not look unto the end of that which should be abolished.
We are not like Moses. He kept covering his face with a veil. He didn’t want the people of Israel to see the glory fading away.
We are not like Moses, who had to put a veil over his face so that the people of Israel would not see the brightness fade and disappear.
We are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the Israelites could not stare at the end of what was fading away,
We are not like Moses. He put a covering over his face so that the people of Israel would not see it. The glory was disappearing, and Moses did not want them to see it end.
not like Moses, who kept covering his face with a veil to keep the people of Israel from gazing at the end of what was fading away.
With this hope in our hearts we are quite frank and open in our ministry. We are not like Moses, who veiled his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing its fading glory. But it was their minds really which were blinded, for even today when the old agreement is read to them there is still a veil over their minds—though the veil has actually been lifted by Christ. Yes, alas, even to this day there is still a veil over their hearts when the writings of Moses are read. Yet if they “turned to the Lord” the veil would disappear. For the Lord to whom they could turn is the spirit of the new agreement, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, men’s souls are set free.
And not as Moses, who put a veil over his face, that the sons of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that glory which was to fade away:

and are not like Moses, who used to put a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel would not look intently at the consequence of what was being brought to an end.
and not as Moses used to place a veil over his face, in order that the sons of Israel would not stare at the end of what was transitory.
and not as Moses did, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelis could not see the glory fade away.
With that kind of hope to excite us, nothing holds us back. Unlike Moses, we have nothing to hide. Everything is out in the open with us. He wore a veil so the children of Israel wouldn’t notice that the glory was fading away—and they didn’t notice. They didn’t notice it then and they don’t notice it now, don’t notice that there’s nothing left behind that veil. Even today when the proclamations of that old, bankrupt government are read out, they can’t see through it. Only Christ can get rid of the veil so they can see for themselves that there’s nothing there.

We are not like Moses. He kept covering his face with a veil. He didn’t want the people of Israel to see the glory fading away.
